This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms are possible, mainly across
northwestern sections this afternoon. Be aware of thunderstorms
in your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 108-111 degrees across western,
northern, and eastern sections of Puerto Rico, where heat
exhaustion is likely and heat stroke is possible with prolonged
exposure. Heat index 102-107 degrees across most remaining
coastal and other urban areas, where heat exhaustion is possible
with prolonged exposure.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

The excessive rainfall and lightning hazards risk are likely each
day, particularly from the typical afternoon showers and isolated
thunderstorm development. With plenty of moisture across the
region, heat indices could surpass 102 degrees Fahrenheit each
day, with localized areas experiencing 108-110 degrees. A moderate
rip current risk is likely on Tuesday and Saturday. Lingering
Saharan dust will persist throughout the period.
